Today begins the annual celebration of National Teacher Appreciation Week across the DeKalb County School District (DCSD). I want to take this time to thank our phenomenal educators for their tireless efforts and dedication to students, schools, families, the community, and each other. There is no DCSD without our dedicated educators! We hope that you feel the love and appreciation from everyone this week and year-round!

It is worth noting that there is a high demand for high achievers and magnet programs in Area 1, given the nearly 500 students enrolled at Chamblee High School. The future expansion at Cross Keys HS offers an opportunity to expand magnet programs and balance enrollment. What are your thoughts?
What additional Career, Technical & Agricultural Education (CTAE) pathways would you like to see introduced at Cross Keys High School that would better prepare students for future workforce demands? What are your thoughts on expanding the magnet programs at Cross Keys High School to offer more opportunities for students?
