DCSD is enhancing safety for the 2024-25 school year by expanding the Evolv Express® weapons detection system to more venues and campuses.
This advanced technology, which has already proven effective in 41 middle and high schools across the District, will now be deployed at five football stadiums, six additional high school programs and centers, and the DCSD’s main headquarters, the Robert R. Freeman Administrative & Instructional Complex in Stone Mountain.
