Program Description
Do you know of a child who has a passion for scientific discovery? Give them the opportunity to serve as an investigator through DCSD Investigative Science Summer camp. This is a week-long dive into the messy and meticulous world of physical and forensic science. Students will engage in hands-on training in the basics of real-world investigations ranging from heat transformation, biology, chemistry, fire, and criminal investigations.

This summer camp experience will provide participants with a greater understanding of how various science concepts are applied throughout the various career pathways. Additionally, campers will meet with professionals working in the field and learn more about the career pathways associated with fire and emergency services, forensic science, and law enforcement services.
