Extended School Year (ESY) Program (Blended)
Extended School Year (ESY) Program (Blended): June – July, 2024
Extended School Year (ESY) refers to special education and/or related services provided beyond the normal school year by a public agency for the purpose of providing a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) to a student with a disability in accordance with the child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) at no cost to the family. Eligibility for ESY services is determined by the IEP team during the child’s annual review or amendment meeting. Questions regarding ESY services should be directed to your child’s case manager at the local school prior to the end of the school year.
**Please note, parents are unable to register students for the Extended School Year program.
