Description: The DCSD Gamers League (formerly known as Girls Who Game) is an initiative focused on increasing scholars’ access to technology to prepare them for success in a digital world. This summer program provides students the opportunity to work collaboratively to focus on building global competencies and computational thinking using Minecraft: Education Edition.

• Level 1 scholars will research and work with scientists at Fernbank Science Center to design a virtual space in Minecraft.
• Level 2 scholars will serve as junior mentors to the Level 1 scholars and work with community stakeholders on a special project. They were previously Level 1 scholars in the program.
• Level 3 scholars will focus on entry level esports. They were previously Level 2 scholars in the program.
