For the area of facilities, the Division of Operations presented contract renewals for plumbing contractor services, fire extinguishers, electrical contractor services, Georgia Power as an authorized dealer through Cooper Lighting for sports lighting, flooring cover installation, HVAC equipment, swimming pool maintenance services, HVAC repair and installation services, and fire alarm maintenance services. Additionally, for the area of transportation, automotive and bus repair and a contract for support service vehicles. The Division also presented two items for E-SPLOST projects/capital improvement projects. More details on all operations items are available here.
The Division of Information and Instructional Technology presented two items: disaster recovery services and the Incident IQ Ticketing System. More details on these two items, which were approved, are available here.
The Division of the Chief of Staff presented the installation of Centegix Crisis Alert System, which was approved for five additional schools/locations.
The Division of Finance presented the February Financial Report and a resolution to opt out of the statewide homestead exemption established by house bill 581. Both were approved.
The proposed elementary school attendance areas, effective July 1, 2025 for the 2025-2026 school year, as shown in the Elementary School Attendance Areas Map (dated1/13/2025) for Idlewood Elementary School was presented and approved by the Board.
