Clarkston High student Jerusalem Tsige was student School Board representative for March.
Jerusalem Tsige, a sophomore at Clarkston High School, represented the students of the DeKalb County School District at the March 20 meeting of the DeKalb County Board of Education.
Jerusalem has a 3.7 GPA and plans to major in business and marketing in college. She would like to attend Rice University.
Jerusalem is part of the school marching band and plays the mellophone. She is thriving at Clarkston because of the support she receives from her school counselors and administrators, and the student diversity at school allows her understand and embrace their differences, and it has made this big world seem smaller.
