The DLA program extends the Georgia Standards to develop students’ academic, social and technical abilities and skills providing a variety of innovative and engaging strategies to narrow the achievement gap and increase academic rigor. Student achievement is heightened through community connections, participation in fine arts and the utilization of performance-based learning.
