ERP Implementation:

HR/IT/Finance/ and Operation all partnered to make sure that all 12-month employees would make a smooth transition from Cross Point to Munis. The teams continued to wash and repeat prior months’ payroll to increase the chances of success all around. With October 15th, Go Live Date, which occurred last Friday, the transition had some challenges overall, but more successes due to the preparation and collaboration of all 4 departments. The teams have been working around the clock to right the wrong of all the hiccups that were anticipated through this process. It is a celebration to know that the transition is finally here, and in time, all departments, such as H.R, I.T, Operations, and Finance will benefit from this change.

Industry Certification:

The CTAE Department is excited to announce that seven programs will undergo Industry Certification during the 2023-2024 school year. Industry Certification is a collaboration between the Georgia Department of Education, the local school, and the state-level business/industry association that is connected to specific pathways. When a program becomes industry-certified, it receives a “stamp of excellence, “which represents the apex of program quality. Only those programs that have successfully undergone rigorous reviews by leaders from business and industry are recognized with this distinction. Shout out to the C&I Department on this accomplishment.
