The DeKalb County School District (DCSD) will conduct 9 public meetings as a part of three upcoming redistricting efforts for Austin Elementary, Cross Keys North Elementary and Pleasantdale Elementary. These 3 redistricting efforts are to address additional capacity created by new facilities, as well as the overcrowding of elementary schools in the Chamblee, Cross Keys, Dunwoody and Lakeside high school clusters.

The School Choice Expo will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Tucker High School.
The School Choice Expo will inform students and families about their options for enrolling in the district’s specialized programs. Representatives from each of the DeKalb County School District’s nearly 40 choice programs will present informational materials and creative displays, as well as provide answers to participant’s questions.

Available to all DCSD parents and guardians of students with disabilities. If bringing children, please note there is a minimum age of 12 to enter the center. This is due to the equipment inside the center.
What:
Georgia Learning Resource System (GLRS) is a center available that contains a wide range of arts and crafts resources. We will learn how to make buttons, use the laminator, create shapes with die cuts and more! http://www.me.glrs.org/
Where:
GLRS is located on the backside of the DeKalb Administration and Instructional Complex (AIC) located at 1701 Mountain Industrial Blvd Stone Mountain, GA 30083. Please look for the balloons!
When:
Saturday February 1, 2020 8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. This is an open house format so please drop in as convenient. Please remember to leave children under 12 at home.
