Twelve DeKalb County girls’ flag football teams get a taste for the upcoming season as they compete in a jamboree at Cobb Stadium on Saturday.

Games begin at 3:00 pm as Stone Mountain and Martin Luther King jr. face off to get things rolling. Five more games follow set for 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, 7:00 and 8:00 pm.

Flag football has grown from three DeKalb schools (Dunwoody, Lakeside, McNair) participating in 2020 to 18 this season. Redan, Towers, Tucker and Miller Grove made playoff appearances a year ago with Redan advancing to the second round with a 34-0 win over LaGrange.
