A collaboration between the DeKalb County School District (DCSD) Athletics Department and ACE Volleyball put on a volleyball camp from July 8-11 at Miller Grove High School to provide skills training to DeKalb high school and middle school student athletes.

Coaches from DeKalb County and ACE Volleyball provided invaluable instruction to the student athletes during the sessions at Miller Grove.

Various skill development sessions were conducted each day to build the skill sets of the volleyball players. These transitioned to ability group workouts to sever the wide skill sets of the attendees.

Players from six high schools including Towers, Miller Grove, Lithonia, Tucker, Arabia Mountain and Columbia as well as middle school level participants from Champion, Sequoyah, Redan, Miller Grove and Druid Hills Middle Schools.

This was the second volleyball camp DCSD has provided this summer to aid in improving student athletes fundamentals in the game of volleyball.
