The third annual DeKalb County vs. Atlanta Public Schools Senior Baseball Classic is set for 6:00 pm today (Tuesday, 5/28) at Redan High School’s Greg Goodwin Field.

The series is tied 1-1 with DeKalb winning a year ago to tie the series.

The DeKalb team is made up of players from Arabia Mountain (1), Druid Hills (1), Dunwoody (4), Decatur (1), Lithonia (1), M.L. King (1), Redan (3), Stephenson (1), Towers (1) and Tucker (1). Redan head coach Derwin McNealy coaches the DeKalb team and will be assisted by Crystal Savage (Lithonia)

The APS squad includes players from Carver (3), KIPP (1), Maynard Jackson (5), Mays (2), Midtown (3) and Therrell (2). Mays head coach Jason Anderson leads the APS team with assistants Desmond Stegall (Maynard Jackson) and Ryan Christian (Therrell).

Tickets cost $5.00 and must be purchased online at DCSD – APS Senior All-Star Classic.
