A year ago the Lakeside Lady Vikings rallied in the final event for a 0.15 victory (95.65-95.50) over Arabia Mountain to win their fourth county title in the past five seasons.
Lakeside returns All-Around runner-up Paige Munro along with Amelia Stockwell who took fourth in the All-Around in 2016 as they compete for back-to-back titles.
Arabia Mountain returns sophomore Noelle Senior who won the All-Around competition as a freshman in 2016 to lead the team against Lakeside again.
Redan has a pair of strong All-Around contenders returning including junior Zaynah Saadiq who won the 2015 title as a freshman and Mya Hemingway who finished third overall last season. The pair led Redan to the 2015 team title.
Dunwoody returns senior Savannah Maddux (silver on vault) and sophomore Emily Wills (tied for bronze on vault) as the Wildcats compete to move up from their fourth place finish. The Wildcats last won the title in 2011, the last in a three-year reign.
Stephenson was fifth overall a year ago behind Isha’e Harris’ fifth place finish in the overall. Harris returns to lead the Jaguars and add to her bronze in the beam last season.
Competition is set to start at 6:00 pm in the Dunwoody High gym.
