The DeKalb School of the Arts One Act Play troupe competes for a state title at 9:00 am on Saturday.
The DeKalb School of the Arts (DSA) One Act Play troupe is set to participate in the GHSA One Act Play State Championships at Houston County High School on Saturday (November 23) at 9:00 am.
DSA clinched a spot in the Class 1A Division 1 state championships by winning the Region 5-1A title during recent competition.
The group is vying to win the school’s third state title to go with victories in 1999 and 2022.
Druid Hills One Act Play actor Nathan Hicks was named Best Actor at the Region 5-4A competition held recently.
Two other DeKalb schools picked up region runner-up awards. McNair came in second in the Region 4-1A Division 1 competition.
Redan claimed a runner-up spot in the Region 6-2A competition as DeKalb had three groups finish in the Top 3 in region performances.
