The Southwest DeKalb Lady Panthers extended their winning streak to four by taking a 9-0 Region 5-5A victory against the Miller Grove Lady Wolverines.

Southwest DeKalb’s four-game streak includes region wins of 8-6 over Chamblee (15-5, 7-2) and 10-0 over Lithonia (8-8, 4-6) prior to the win over Miller Grove (9-7, 5-5).

The three victories have moved the Lady Panthers to the top of the Region 5-5A standings at 12-5 overall and 8-1 in region action. Chamblee’s consecutive region losses of 8-6 to Southwest DeKalb and 3-0 to Arabia Mountain (10-8, 6-2) dropped the Lady Bulldogs from atop the region standings into a half-game lead over Arabia Mountain.
