The 2017 basketball postseason gets underway tonight as region tournaments kickoff the run to the state playoffs with three DeKalb schools hosting tournaments.
Redan is hosting the Region 4-3A Tournamenet beginning with four boys’ games tonight. DeKalb has Stone Mountain, Cedar Grove, McNair, Towers and Redan boys’ all looking for a win and a state tournament berth.
Tucker is hosting the Region 4-6A Tournament with two games on tap tonight involving both the boys’ and girls’ teams from Martin Luther King Jr. in action at 6:00 and 7:30 pm.
Miller Grove is hosting the Region 5-5A Tournament with action getting underway on Tuesday.
Druid Hills boys’ are in action tonight against host Woodward at 6:00 pm with a state tournament berth on the line
The Dunwoody Lady Wildcats look to keep their playoff hopes alive as they take on North Atlanta in a 5:00 pm game at John’s Creek tonight.
Lakeside (13-11) takes on Central Gwinnett (11-13) in Region 7-7A boys’ play tonight at Brookwood with tipoff set for 7:30 pm
