Alumni play a crucial role in the success and growth of the DeKalb County School District (DCSD), which has a long history dating back to its establishment in 1873. As Georgia’s third-largest school system, covering 257 square miles and serving 22 high schools, DCSD benefits from the engagement and support of its graduates.
We proudly celebrate the impact of our DeKalb alumni, whose contributions are making a difference both locally and around the world.
In 2025, we’re celebrating the incredible impact of our DeKalb alumni—leaders, innovators, and changemakers—through our new #DeKalbMade feature video and story series! If you’re a DeKalb alum making a difference locally or globally, we want to hear from you. Click here to register and share more information about your journey and accomplishments. We also invite you to get social with us by sharing your #DeKalbMade Video Selfie on your personal accounts. Click here for more information.
Part of making a difference is giving back! Our alumni contribute by mentoring students, providing scholarships, and fostering professional networking opportunities. Their involvement strengthens community ties, enhances school pride, and helps current students see the real-world value of their education. Do you want to get connected?
