Gary Brantley, chief information officer for the DeKalb County School District, has been named one of Computerworld’s Premier 100 Technology Leaders for 2017.
According to Computerworld, a technology website, members of the Premier 100 display exceptional technology leadership in their organizations, foster ideas and creative work environments, envision innovative approaches to business problems and effectively managed IT strategies. As the point person for DCSD technology efforts, Brantley leads a department that serves more than 118,000 users daily.
“I am thankful to be recognized by Computerworld for my contributions to the DeKalb County School District. However, this award is more a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our Information Services Team toward supporting student achievement,” Brantley said.
Brantley and other honorees will be honored in a special issue of Computerworld’s Digital Magazine in March 2017.
